Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA/UK) to use BastionForge. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@bastionforge.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Upload or share content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its systems, or other users' accounts.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
• Use the Service to send spam or distribute malware.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

BastionForge lets you create campaigns, bastions, custom facilities, and other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By creating User Content in the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display it solely for the purpose of operating the Service and making it available to the players you have invited to your campaigns.

You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights to it.

BastionForge offers a free tier and an optional paid Premium subscription, as well as one-time purchases of content packs and voluntary donations. Payments are processed by Stripe and (where applicable) by Apple or Google. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account or through the App Store / Google Play. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments and donations are non-refundable.

Free accounts are subject to limits on the number of campaigns, bastions, players, custom facilities, and turn history retained. These limits may change over time. Premium subscribers receive expanded or unlimited access to these features.

BastionForge and the BastionForge name and logo are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark laws. Except for User Content, all content provided by the Service is owned by us or our licensors.

BastionForge is an independent fan-made companion app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast LLC. Dungeons & Dragons, D&D, and related marks are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast LLC. References to D&D rules content are provided for compatibility with rules you already own.

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account by emailing support@bastionforge.app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your conduct creates legal exposure or harm to us or other users.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BastionForge and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) USD $50.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BastionForge from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which BastionForge is established, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. (Update this section with your jurisdiction before launch.)
